Anal Fistula / Fistula-in-Ano

Anal Fistula / Fistula-in-Ano is a chronic abnormal communication between the surface of the anal canal and the skin of the anus. The anal fistula can be described as a narrow tunnel with an internal opening in the anal canal and an external opening in the skin near the anus. Anal fistula usually occurs in people with a history of anal abscess. When the anal abscess does not heal properly, they form. Anal fistula originates from the anal gland and is located between the internal and external sphincters of the anus and is discharged into the anal canal. If the outlets of these glands are blocked, an abscess can form, eventually extending to the surface of the skin. The tract formed by this process is a fistula

Symptoms of phimosis

The main symptom of phimosis is the inability to retract the foreskin by the age of 3. The foreskin usually loosens over time, but this process can take longer in some boys. By around the age of 17, a boy should be able to easily retract his foreskin. Another common symptom of phimosis is a swelling of the foreskin while urinating.

Fistula Treatment

Kshara Sutra is a minimally invasive Ayurvedic treatment and time-tested Ayurvedic treatment for anorectal diseases. This is a safe, reliable and cost-effective way to treat anal fistula, piles and other sinus diseases.

Fistula Treatment 1 - Laser Surgery

The procedure is completed under brief general anesthesia and takes approximately 30-40 minutes. A radially emitting laser fiber is inserted from the outside. A defined amount of laser energy is then emitted circumferentially into the fistula tube. The laser energy causes controlled photothermal destruction of the fistula tract, causing the fistula tract to collapse to a high degree. This also helps to support and accelerate the healing process. It has an excellent cure rate compared to all other techniques. Because the anal sphincter is preserved, there is no risk of post-operative incontinence. It can be done with a complex fistula like the inguinal region of the rectum, Recto-Gluteal Fistulas. It is safe for high risk patients with high blood pressure, heart (heart) problems and elderly people.

Fistula Tratment 2 - Kshar Sutra Therapy

The effect of pressure on the Fistulous Tract by tensioned Kshar Sutra on the anorectal tissue. The presence of Kshar Sutra in the Fistulous Tract does not allow the cavity to close from both ends and continuously drain the pus along the Kshar Sutra itself. Kshar Sutra slowly and gradually from Apex to the surrounding Fistulous Tract. There is an ideal way to cut and heal at the same time, no pup bag can stay. Kshara applied to threads is an anti-inflammatory, anti-vomiting agent and, in addition, chemically cured. Kshar Sutra is still in direct contact with the area, so it chemically trims the upper lining and causes it to fall off, causing the Fistulous Tract to collapse and heal. Due to its antibacterial properties, Kshar Sutra does not allow bacteria to multiply in their presence. The pH of Kshar Sutra is toward the alkaline side, so it does not allow rectal pathogens to invade the cavity
